So just an update!
Today is September 4th...which means 4 days away from my birthday which also means two days ago was Sealand's Birthday!
Well if your wondering about the title of this...I guess you could call it entry that's because I have been freaking out new band kids for what has it been? The past two or three weeks. It all started off with Carlos...the no longer bassoon player. Then there was some random girl and so I said : "What art thou name child?" I'm just freaking people out all the time...
On another band note (see what I did there...), I am learning flute!
But, I'm still also continuing oboe...not to sure about trombone though.
I also joined Orchestra for whatever reason that got in to my head. I am also a part of culture club... we meet again September 11th.
I also tried out for Public Relations Commissioner for Student Council! IDK how that will end up.
As Closure I shall leave you all with a little piece of one of my stories:
“Hurry up, or the cab might leave
without us.” B. Wealer said as he reached out and grabbed my arm to make me
move faster.
“You walk very fast.” I stated.
“That’s a fairly good observation
Miss. Garner, now if only you could figure out the reasons to why.” He said as
he lead me out the door. As promised a yellow cab was stalled waiting for us.
“Don’t you have your own car?” I
asked as he opened the door to the cab for me and I stepped in.
“Cars are to obvious. I can be
found anywhere if I used one vehicle. It is much less costly to my wallet if I
just ride in numberous cabs.” Said he stepping into the cab.
“Oh.” I replied simply again as I
thought before, there was no reason to speak to such a man. One who does not
own his own car and walks too fast not taking into consideration the speed his
partner goes at.
“Not a lady of many words I see.”
He said taking out his phone.
“No, not at all, I just do not wish
to speak to the likes of you,” I said turning my head to look out the window.
“Hmm…and why would that be?” He
asked, “I mean most ladies swoon over me. I have yet to find such a woman to
not talk to me especially at such close quarters.” He said, meanwhile I watched
as we passed several business buildings. I tuned him out it wasn’t any use to
talk to someone so arrogant of themselves. But none of the less he was too loud
for me to not listen to.
“You should listen to your elders.”
He said
“You’re not that older than me!” I
said defensively.
“And she talks.” He said, “Hmm…that
depends how old are you? You look around your early twenties possible mid…no
early for sure.” He said as he looked me up and down. It was rather awkward to
me, but to him it seemed like he did this every day.
“A-are you checking me out,” I
asked
“You only speak in defense and to
answer your question I was not. I was mainly assuming your age by your style of
dress, body structure and other simple things.” He said nonchalantly, how could
one be so nonchalant about this. Was it….he didn’t like what saw?
With a Lot of Love,
Maya
